Fingers Ridge Direct

Did a quick sunny afternoon jaunt up Fingers Ridge Direct (VS 4c) in Coire an T'sneachda. The route is a less than direct more opposing line to the classic winter line of Fingers Ridge. It climbs blank slabs directly up the granite pillar connecting with the normal route just below the 'fingers'.

Looking back down to Jim and Dave enjoying an unusually sunny belay in the Cairngorms

Thanks to Dave and especially Jim for providing a few of the photos.
